Military Non-Profits

At VALoanCenter.net we’ve published this list of non-profit organizations that support Veterans and the Military community to help raise awareness of them.  As part of Veterans Week 2011 we will be making a donation to one of these organizations each day.  We’re also strongly encouraging YOU to make a donation to one or more of these organizations as well this week.

Operation Homefront provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members and wounded warriors. Donate

The Wounded Warrior Project provide unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members.  Donate

The USO offers a variety of programs and services to support the morale, welfare, social and entertainment needs of troops and their families, free of charge. Donate

Missing in America Project locates, identifies and inter the unclaimed cremated remains of American veterans through the joint efforts of private, state and federal organizations. To provide honor and respect to those who have served this country by securing a final resting place for these forgotten heroes. Donate

Blue Star Families was formed by a group of military spouses to raise the awareness of the challenges of military family life with our civilian communities. Donate

Operation Support Our Troops supports the morale and wellbeing of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to them and their families both while they are deployed in harm’s way. Donate

SOFAR provides free psychological support and services to extended family of Reserve and National Guard deployed in Afghanistan, Iraq and Kuwait.during the Global War on Terrorism. Donate

TAPS (Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors) is the 24/7 tragedy assistance resource for ANYONE who has suffered the loss of a military loved one. Donate
